Net Insight's CEO Bengt Olsson tells Elektroniktidningen that the approval means a lot, not only to the company, but also to its customers. He now hopes that DTM equipment sales will take off in earnest. Dynarc's CEO Olov Schagerlund is also pleased that Etsi has chosen to make the technology a standard. He hopes the standard status will attract more manufacturers, as this would reduce the risk to customers who decide to start using the technology.
However, as of yet no other companies than the two Swedish firms have announced plans to deliver DTM equipment. According to Olov Schagerlund this is probably because Dynarc and Net Insight are the only companies with core competence in the area.
